An Alternative Form
for Ordering the Eucharist
Forms used at the discretion of the minister conducting the service on any occasion shall be neither contrary to, nor indicative of any departure from the doctrine and authority of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia in any essential matter.
An asterisk ( * ) indicates elements of the liturgy which may appear at one point or another in the rite.
The five section headings and the related subsections are those agreed by the International Anglican Liturgical Consultation for Common Use throughout the Anglican Communion.
See the Dublin Report 1995, Renewing the Anglican Eucharist.
The term “authorised” means approved by the General Synod/Te Hīnota Whānui, or equivalent, of any member church of the Anglican Communion.
